How to protect the hydraulic pump when the excavator is equipped with a breaker?- Part one

Because the breaker is a reciprocating and fast impact motion, the return speed of oil is fast and the relative pulse is relatively large, which causes the aging speed of the hydraulic oil to accelerate. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain the excavator and use it properly, which can effectively prolong the life of the hydraulic system.

1. Use a high-quality breaker (with an accumulator)

Analysis: Inferior breakers are prone to problems due to design, manufacturing, inspection and other links, and the failure rate in use is high, which is more likely to cause damage to the excavator;

2. Appropriate engine speed (medium throttle)

Analysis: Because the breaker has low requirements on working pressure and flow (such as 20-ton excavator, working pressure 160-180KG, flow 140-180L/MIN), it can work with medium throttle; if the throttle works, it will not increase the impact. The force will also cause the hydraulic oil to heat up abnormally, which will also cause great damage to the hydraulic system;

3. Correct buttering posture, frequency and quantity

Be sure to add lubricating grease when the steel is brazed straight, and refill it every 2 hours

Analysis: If the lubricating oil is supplemented in the suspended state of the steel rod, the grease will enter the striking chamber, and abnormal high pressure oil will be generated in the striking chamber during striking, which will enter the hydraulic system and damage the hydraulic pump;

4. Hydraulic oil quantity and pollution condition

Analysis: Since the hydraulic oil pollution is one of the main reasons for the failure of the hydraulic pump, the pollution status of the hydraulic oil should be confirmed in time. (600 hours to replace the hydraulic oil, 100 hours to replace the core)

Lack of hydraulic oil will cause cavitation phenomenon, resulting in hydraulic pump failure, breaker piston cylinder strain, etc.; Suggestion: check the oil level before use every day;
